S&OP Manager

Reporting to the Divisional Director Supply Chain Operations, the S&OP Manager improves and maintains a solid Sales & Operations Planning process (S&OP), prepares and chairs the S&OP for all the sites and guarantees, together with the sites, the punctual execution of the MPS within the agreed service levels, inventory and costs, in order to deliver the expected customer service level at best possible cost.

 

Representative activities

  • Prepares, leads and coordinates the S&OP drumbeats with all involved stakeholders to generate an accurate Master Planning Schedule (MPS), serving the customer demand and maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Performs regular RCCA analysis of the MPS inputs and outputs based on the supply chain performance indicators and aligns with the site supply chain teams to understand/adjust the plan and trains the supply chain teams.
  • Ensures the definition and follow-up of inventory targets
  • Supports regular a long term Rough Cut Capacity Planning exercise to assess feasibility and appropriate utilization of labor and machine assets.
  • Participates actively in the implementation of corrective action plans as necessary for customer recovery plans, supplier delivery issues, change management exercises, …
  • Develops and maintains documentation and standard operating procedures for planning processes and systems while ensuring these are used and implemented within the whole organization.
  • Supports schedule presentations and negotiations with suppliers and customers.
  • Develops supply chain metrics/reports (e.g. schedule adherence, throughput analysis, …) using a range of data tools and audits the accuracy of the supply chain master data.
  • Facilitates cross-functional meetings to improve and adopt supply chain best practice techniques, with the ultimate goal to improve the flows, throughput times and the link with day-to-day execution.

 

Requirements

  • University degree with minimum 3 years of experience in similar position
  • Good communication & presentation skills with a positive mind
  • Good knowledge of English, written as well as spoken
  • Advanced Excel skills and in depth knowledge of ERP & MRP systems (Visual or other)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills in managing multiple topics in parallel
  • Capacity to manage, plan and organize complex activities
  • Self-steering team player
  • Punctual, accurate and focus on quality of data
