System Administrator (Cyber)

Purpose of the job

To perform support services and administrative tasks in assigned cyber security technologies of BMT group.

Accountabilities and detailed job description
•    Administers (configure, upgrade) security infrastructure in BMT sites; performs other management tasks of related; 
•    Regularly checks operational status, security related logs and events of IT infrastructure equipment to identify security threats, risks and vulnerable systems;
•    Investigate and mitigate identified security incidents;
•    Supervises security related hardware and infrastructure application settings, maintains IT infrastructure related documentation;
•    Assists other IT colleagues with resolution of configuration or operational issues;
•    Resolves tickets, tasks and service request assigned in helpdesk application (ServiceDesk Plus);
•    Cooperates on assigned IT projects;
•    Regularly communicates with colleagues from assigned competence teams, follows-up the instructions and principles defined inside these teams;
•    Always looks for problem root cause, be proactive;
•    Keeps the working environment clean and neat;
•    Maintains and expands knowledge base in area of expertise.

Main responsibilities:
•    Maintains the assigned infrastructure devices to be always up-to-date (firmware and security patterns);
•    Actively look for and identify cyber security threats based on indications provided by security and monitoring appliances;
•    Investigate time line, scenario, source and impact of cyber security incidents;
•    Makes sure that the IT equipment is used effectively and in efficient manner;
•    Makes sure that the IT resources (mainly software and user licenses) are not misused (or violating licensing permissions);

Profile
•   An IT Highschool graduate
•   With already at least 2 years of experience in IT 
•   Excellent knowledge of English
•   General IT (hardware, Windows&linux OS), 
•   advanced networking and cyber security principles, 
•   administration of firewalls and other networking and cyber security technologies
•   Good communication skills, team player, responsible person, consistent and proactive attitude.
•   Problem solving and incidents investigation skills

Range of attorney
•    Decides about the best method of incidents and service requests resolution;
•    Takes care (as member of BMT IT team) of assigned infrastructure areas in all BMT International sites;
