Mission

Contributes to the development and growth of our company’s business activities and revenue from primarily new but also existing customers and takes responsibility for the sales activities of one particular geographic region or in a number of different countries in order to expand the organization’s market share at an international level.

This specific function is focused on USA/NA Aerospace Market Segment, targeting major Aerospace OEM’s in Engine and A/C manufacturing.

 

 

Result areas

  • Contributes to business development strategies and provides input into annual business development plans for relevant area, to reach required business objectives and revenue.
  • Recognizes new market segments and opportunities for business development, and works with the internal organization to pull in new opportunities based on an approved business case and ROI calculation
  • Monitors relevant market development activities to ensure that they are in line with company business aims.
  • Measures performance against agreed yearly budget and undertakes remedial action where appropriate.
  • Include and maintain contacts with existing and potential customers to ensure that commercial relations can be developed even further and to build up strategic alliances.
  • Maintain good contacts with policy makers within the sector and with external experts in the industry and the authorities to ensure that we can anticipate changes or new developments and trends within the sector at any given moment.
  • Works closely with Product & Key Account Managers to understand business requirements and market needs.
  • Participates in tradeshows to represent internal organization best interests and learn the competition
  • Ability to work on Long term contracts with a value higher than 30 mio $
  • Year on Year incremental increase of sales

 

 

 

 

Job Requirements

  • BS/BA in business or technical field with 5+ year’s end-user sales experience or equivalent combined experience.  
  • Proven experience in value selling, 80/20 business principle implementation, and customer back innovation processes.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit to drive organizational focus on the key initiatives and opportunities.
  • Possess business analytical and strategic problem solving skills.
  • Able to effectively work with and through others in a collaborative environment.
  • Takes ownership and drives positive change.
  • Behaves from an enterprise first perspective.
  • Ability to network and create trust relationships with prospects and potential customers.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with experience in communicating and working with all levels of company and customer personnel.
  • Strong listening and analytical skills to interpret and translate information into selling requirements.
  • Strong financial acumen and professional presence.
  • Fluent in the use of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point), Outlook, and Salesforce.com.
  • Able to travel 80% of Employment time.
