This is a perfect opportunity for CNC Mill Operators with manufacturing experience in a low volume precision machining environment. Seeking Operators and Trainees for our 2nd Shift. We offer competitive wages and benefits (includes BCBSM & BCN) along with a 10% shift premium. Our clean and air conditioned facility is located in Fraser, Michigan.  Starting Payrate: $17 per hour, final rate will depend on experience.  2nd Shift is Monday - Friday from 5:30 pm - 6:00 am; weekend availability needed.

Position Summary
This occupation develops sequences of commands for, performs set-ups on, and operates computer numerically controlled (CNC) milling machines fully utilizing pre-programmed operations and subroutines; records data and commands for subsequent use by assigned machine operators or machinists. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
•    Demonstrate a positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
•    Work with complete integrity and compliance to company rules and regulations

Responsibilities:
•    Program, edit and modify programs as needed
•    Familiarity with Fanuc controls, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement techniques
•    Inspect work utilizing certified operator program
•    Setup machine and size to sketch dimensions

Requirements:
•    High School Diploma or GED
•    3+ years of experience in setup and operation of CNC Mill
•    Blueprint reading abilities
•    CMM report data interpretations
•    Shop Math Skills
•    Proficiency in using a wide variety of precision measuring tools is required
•    GD&T experience
•    Must be able to work overtime

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
