SAP Application Engineer

BMT Aerospace is currently moving towards SAP S/4 Hana private cloud. In this roll-out we are looking for an experienced SAP Application Engineer.
SAP Engineer for SAP S/4HANA private cloud is responsible for managing and maintaining the SAP S/4HANA system in a private cloud environment. Overall, the SAP Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the SAP S/4HANA system is running smoothly and meeting the needs of the organization. 
Some of the key responsibilities of an ERP Engineer in this context may include:

Key Responsibilities:

•    Setting up and configuring the SAP S/4HANA system to meet the needs of the organization.
•    Managing user access and security within the system.
•    Performing system updates and upgrades to ensure the system is running on the latest version. Creation of Service request to SAP portal.
•    Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
•    Managing system backups and disaster recovery processes to ensure data is protected. Create the necessary Service requests towards SAP and monitor the status of it.
•    Collaborating with other IT teams to integrate the SAP S/4HANA system with other systems and applications.
•    Providing training and support to end-users to ensure they can effectively use the system is a nice to have.

Knowledge:

•    Already having some experience (5 years) in such a role.
•    SAP S/4 Hana – private cloud version V22/10.
•    Knowledge about the different SAP modules is a nice to have to understand the Business.
•    Knowledge of Transport and setting up a release calendar.
•    Experience in SAP Basis administration and SAP S/4 HANA administration, knowledge of Linux operating system commands and shell scripting, experience in database administration and performance tuning is nice to have.
