General Characteristics and purpose
Manages and coordinates the company's logistic and supply chain function across sub-functions such as demand/supply and production planning, procurement, warehousing, material management, logistics and distribution/transportation to meet company’s business requirements.  

Representative Activities

• Designs, proposes and implements logistic and supply chain strategies, guidelines and procedures.
• Oversees the procurement of goods, materials and equipment.
• Develops and oversees the implementation of supply planning and production planning.
• Develops, implements, and monitors all logistics management activities required for the timely and efficient transportation and warehousing of incoming and outgoing materials and distribution of products. 
• Ensures the integration of sales forecasts, purchasing, production control, traffic, and warehousing.   
• Manages and motivates subordinate staff; reviews and assesses performance, builds employee capacity, supports their professional development and enables employees to optimize their contribution to the department.
