SAP Application Engineer

Job description

1. Setting up and configuring the SAP S/4HANA system to meet the needs of the organization.

2. Managing user access and security within the system.

3. Performing system updates and upgrades to ensure the system is running on the latest version. Creation of Service request to SAP portal

4. Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

5. Managing system backups and disaster recovery processes to ensure data is protected. Create the necessary Service requests towards SAP and monitor the status of it

6. Collaborating with other IT teams to integrate the SAP S/4HANA system with other systems and applications.

7. Providing training and support to end-users to ensure they can effectively use the system is a nice to have,

Overall, the SAP Application Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the SAP S/4HANA system is running smoothly and meeting the needs of the organization.

Skills

• Already having some experience (5 years)  in such a role,
• SAP S/4 Hana – private cloud version V22/10
• Knowledge about the different SAP modules is a nice to have to understand the Business
• Knowledge of Transport and setting up a release calendar
• Experience in SAP Basis administration and SAP S/4 HANA administration, knowledge of Linux operating system commands and shell scripting, experience in database administration and performance tuning is a very nice to have
