Long Description

General Characteristics and purpose
Oversees and leads the quality assurance/quality management unit, and translates the quality strategy to quality procedures and guidelines, in line with applicable policies, legislation and country strategy, in order to ensure the realization of objectives for the own area.

 

Representative Activities

  • Initiates, plans, develops and implements quality processes and practices. 
  • Ensures development of quality procedures, standards and specifications.
  • Leads the quality assurance/quality management unit; determine priorities and allocate work to quality teams.
  • Coordinates with manufacturing and other internal departments to define and to resolve product quality problems. 
  • Coordinates internal and external audits.
  • Coordinates with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
  • Leads and coordinates quality related projects. 
  • Ensures issuing of technical documentation for customers aimed at certifying organization’s products’ reliability, safety and guarantee.
  • Implements, maintains and improves quality systems across all organizational processes.
