International Key Account Manager

Your role
- As an International Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key accounts on a global scale. Primary objective will be to maximize sales opportunities, drive revenue growth by existing and new accounts, and ensure client satisfaction.
- This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
- As a relationship builder you build and maintain strong, long lasting relationships with key accounts. Serve as primary point of contact for all client inquiries, concerns and escalations.
- You develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives. Identifying growth opportunities within key accounts and devise strategies to take advantage of them.
- Drive sales growth by actively promoting products and services to key accounts. Collaborate with internal sales teams to develop customized solutions that meet client needs.
- You negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements with key accounts. Ensure that all contracts follow company policies and legal requirements.
- You analyse sales data and market trends to forecast future sales opportunities and revenue projections. Providing regular reports and updates to senior management on key account performance.
- As a networker you are the professional who follows the trends, both economically and technologically, through contacts in the industrial world.
- You have a broad business mindset, you have knowledge of cost (calculations), financial figures and P&L.
- You build a broad product knowledge and you are aware of the applicability of legal, statutory, regulatory, environmental and safety requirements.
- You report directly to the Sales Director
Your profile
- You are a professional with a positive mindset and leadership skills.
- You have -preferably- a master's degree with a high technical-intellectual curiosity.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a technical sales position in an international industrial environment. A background/experience in production of mechanical components, gears is an advantage.
- You are a strategic thinker with operational mindset.
- You are able to negotiate at different levels.
- You are customer-oriented, sales-driven and you maintain a good balance between commercial and technical skills.
- You act as a linking pin and have a positive impact on the team. You are driven by professional honestly towards the different departments and cutomers.
- You have excellent communication skils (written and verbally) in English.
