Long Description

General Characteristics and purpose
Coordinates planning, organization, and implementation of environmental health and safety programs and policies, also manages, develops and stimulates employees, in line with business needs, BMT (EHS) strategies and policies, relevant legislation and standards, in order to minimize and prevent EHS risks and to meet company’s business requirements.

 

Representative Activities

  • Implements corporate environmental, health and safety policies, procedures and practices to meet short and long-term business needs.
  • Ensures development, manages and ensures realization year plan/budget for the assigned unit, acquire approval, ensure and manage execution and deliver results.
  • Advises management on government regulations relating to environment, health and safety, by means of periodical and ad hoc reports and recommends necessary action to attain compliance. 
  • Oversees programs for existing and potential environmental, health and safety concerns and recommends resolution. 
  • Develops programs for remedial action and leads teams for critical incidents. 
  • Maintains relationships with regulatory and government agency personnel. 
  • Attracts, leads, coaches, appraises and develops employees, ensure staffing and stimulate talent (management).
  • Keeps up with internal and external developments and ensure development, transfer and retention of knowledge and information.

 

We are looking for a candidate who meets the following criteria:

  • Level VI education (occupational safety/fire protection, environmental studies, mechanical engineering, or another relevant field),
  • Passed professional examination in occupational health and safety,
  • Passed professional examination in fire protection,
  • Valid license for Health and Safety Coordinator,
  • Good knowledge of environmental legislation and standards,
  • Commitment to continuous improvement of safety processes,
  • Proactive approach,
  • Reliability, independence, and precision in work.
